Murder warrants released Wednesday in Oklahoma County Court shed light on what led to the arrests of two teenagers for a drive-by gunshot murder just before 10 a.m. May 22.

The warrants say eyewitness accounts led to the arrests of 16-year-old Tanish Love Junior and 19-year-old Daequan Gay. Police say the suspects drove up next to a vehicle being driven by Angelo Robertson outside the “Good Time Market” at 45th and Sunnylane Road, and opened fire.

Roberson was hit several times. Doctors pronounced Roberson dead a short time later at OU Medical Center.

The murder warrants say a bystander flagged down a police officer shortly after the shooting, and helped direct police to where the two suspects left the car they were in. An eyewitness also identified Tanish Love Junior as one of the shooters.

The police investigation is ongoing.
