I-40 In MWC Narrowed At Sunnylane Rd. Due To Hole In Bridge

Interstate 40 was narrowed at Sunnylane Road in Midwest City, due to a hole in the bridge Friday morning.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said the right lane of eastbound I-40 between Sunnylane Rd. and S.E. 15th St. would be closed from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Friday due to a 1 foot by 1 foot hole in the bridge. 

Initially discovered by ODOT crews. Additionally, the I-40 eastbound off-ramp to Sunnylane Rd. was closed.

At 2:52 p.m., the Oklahoma Department of Transportation said all the lanes of eastbound I-40 were open between Sunnylane Rd. and S.E. 15th following the repair.
