May Ave. Bridge Over NW Expressway Reopens

Drivers have been given the green light to use the May Avenue Bridge over NW Expressway in Oklahoma City.

Two lanes of the bridge reopened Thursday night, one in each direction.

The bridge collapsed on Thursday, May 19. A police report shows a truck hit the bridge with its boom lift still raised after making a delivery at Penn Square Mall. Police confirm the driver did not have a proper permit.
