Police Identify Man Shot, Killed In Southwest OKC

Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in southwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday night.

According to police, at about 7:40 p.m. officers responded to the report of an assault at a home in the 3100 block of S. Shartel. When officers arrived, they found two people, 45-year-old Pedro Banuelas and a 14-year-old juvenile, critically injured inside the home.

Banuelas was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The teen remains hospitalized in grave condition, police said.

It is unclear who attacked the two victims or what motivated the assault. No arrests have been made. If you have any information, call the Homicide tip-line at (405)-297-1200.

This is Oklahoma City’s 28th homicide of 2016, according to police.
