A Tecumseh man is accused of possessing child pornography after several obscene photos and writings were uncovered at a warehouse building he owned.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) were requested to look into the matter after allegations were brought to the district attorney’s office against 75-year-old Philip Jan Cannon.

OSBI agents conducted a search of three properties owned by Cannon, when they uncovered dozens of printed color and black and white photos of naked underage females. Investigators also found a flash drive with more photographs of underage women in sexually explicit positions with graphic photo captions.

Investigators did not say how they were tipped off to search Cannon’s properties.

Cannon was booked into the Pottawatomie County Jail. Details on a possible bond was not released.
