Tip Leads OKC Police To Arrest Man For Possession Of Child Porn

An Oklahoma City man was arrested Monday night, after police learned he had nude photographs of young girls stored on his cell phone.

Police arrested 39-year-old William Patrick after a friend of the suspect notified them of the photos.

According to the report, Patrick and the friend were out drinking. When Patrick became too intoxicated to drive, the friend said he drove him home and used Patrick’s phone to call for a ride.

The friend said he then began to look though the phone’s photo gallery where he found the nude pictures of girls, that police determined to be between 10 and 12 years old. After Patrick fell asleep the friend took the phone and called police.

Police arrived shortly before 7 p.m. and asked Patrick some questions about the phone. He was then arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of Possession of Child Pornography and Felony Indecent Exhibitions. Bond was set at $14,000 for each count.

Patrick also has a previous conviction for Procuring Lewd Exhibitions out of Oklahoma County back in 2014.
