Monday morning's rain and thunderstorm activity will continue moving east this afternoon. Mild and muggy conditions will persist through the rest of the state with highs rising into the low and mid 70s under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

Showers and thunderstorms will likely develop along a dryline in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles and move east. These may reach western Oklahoma after 8 p.m., with all modes of severe weather possible.

More thunderstorms, likely strong to severe, will form along a cold front in northwestern Oklahoma later Monday evening and push southeast into the rest of the state. These will also pose a threat for tennis ball size hail, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, and a low tornado threat.

Storms will likely reach the OKC Metro after midnight, still posing a threat for wind and hail.

On Tuesday morning storms will move southeast of OKC and dissipate in southeastern Oklahoma.
