Three people will spend their second night in jail Thursday after Oklahoma City police arrested them on dozens of complaints.

Long-time residents on the 3100 block of Northwest 46th said illegal activity in the neighborhood is a little unusual. But after police searched a home in the area, investigators said it was clear all kinds of crimes had been committed.

Investigators reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana as soon as they walked through the door, and ended up finding 2.5 oz. of the drug. And according to the probable cause affidavit, police found an orange Nike shoe box with a large quantity of a crystal substance which later tested to be methamphetamine, nearly 4 lbs. of it.

Not to mention, police said the place where all the drugs were found is within 2,000 feet of a park, which added to the charges.

The probable cause affidavit also said one of the arrested, 23-year-old Darian Warehime, had a compact mirror covered in crystal meth residue and "in excess of $975 located in her bra."

And 31-year-old John Newport, who is a suspected gang member, had $2,500 in cash in his wallet, according to police.

Police also reported finding gang paraphernalia throughout the house plus two rifles and three pistols.

Both Newport and the third arrested in this bust, 32-year-old Alanna Askew, had felony warrants for their arrest out of Oklahoma County, according to police.

Officers could not confirm which gang the arrested person was affiliated with.
