Driver Involved In Fatal Auto Pedestrian Wreck Arrested on Murder Complaint

A man has been booked on a murder and drug complaints following a fatal automobile-pedestrian crash in southwest Oklahoma City Thursday afternoon.

Police arrested Robert Earl Mize II near SW 59th St. and S. Blackwelder Ave. shortly after the wreck that killed a 5-year-old boy. 

OKC Police spokesperson Travis Vernier says the  child was transported to OU Medical Center, but did not survive.

Mize was also booked on complaints of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. 

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
