Thursday night, the News 9 weather team is tracking another round of storms making its way into Oklahoma.
Showers and storms in the Texas panhandle began moving into far western Oklahoma Thursday evening. The rest of Oklahoma looks to stay dry with increasing cloudiness.
Storm and rain chances increase overnight in central Oklahoma, with likely chances Friday morning. There is a low threat that any of these storms become severe with quarter size hail and wind up to 60 mph possible.
The next wave of showers and storms should arrive Friday afternoon, with a warm front lifting to our north. Temperatures top out in the upper 70’s. With potentially enough instability in place, these storms have a moderate threat of becoming severe with all large hail, damaging wind, and tornadoes possible.
