One Shot Behind Department Store In NW OKC

One person was shot Sunday afternoon behind a northwest Oklahoma City department store, police said.

The shooting happened about 5 p.m. in the 3000 block of NW 59 near May Avenue. 

One victim was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle.

Investigators think there was a struggle between two people behind the department store and during the scuffle, one person was shot in the leg. 

Police said no one had been arrested and no suspect description was released.
