Man Arrested After Leading Police On Chase Through OKC

A man tried to outrun police in a stolen truck, but things did not end well for him.

Oklahoma City police said it was near Interstate 44 and Pennsylvania where an officer tried to pull the driver over. The officer knew the red truck he was in was stolen. Rather than pulling over, the man drove off.

Police launched Air One and also got assistance from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The chase continued along I-44 and our cameras were there when it finally ended on the southwest side of the metro at Meridian and S.W. 156th.

The man was found muddy and exhausted after trying to out run a K9 near a creek, police said. 

Officers arrested the man. No word just yet on what charges he will be facing. He was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
