Investigators have checked every single missing person's report in the metro and even as far away as Tulsa. But they still can't figure out who a young woman is, since she was found with no cell phone or ID.

A small pink floral display with the words “Rest In Peace Lil One”, mark the spot where the body was found.

It was Thursday, March 31, that a neighbor spotted the body of a small, slim light skinned black female lying in a ditch along a dead end road. And investigators have reached a dead end of their own. They hope a newly released sketch will change that.

“This woman is someone's daughter, a sister or maybe a mother herself,” said Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel during an afternoon news conference. “She needs to be identified.”

Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel said the body had no tattoos, no piercings, and no obvious signs of trauma. She also wasn't wearing any shoes.

“One possibility with the lack of trauma is that  this woman may have overdosed on drugs and someone after that then brought her and dumped her at that location,” said Sheriff Whetsel.

Investigators believe the young woman could be in her late-teens or early 20’s but don't know for sure. She's about 5 feet tall and weighed about 90 pounds.

The one clue they do have to work with is what she was wearing -bright pink fleece pajama pants with red and blue hearts on them. Also found with the body, was a blue and green fleece blanket.

The sheriff said he believes the woman's family may not even realize she is missing.

“If they've been trying to call them and get no answer if they could give us a call so we could work with them to see if this might be someone they are looking for,” said Sheriff Whetsel.

The Medical Examiner’s office is still waiting for toxicology reports to determine a cause of death.
