Skies say clear Wednesday night and the wind subsides quite a bit in central Oklahoma. Temperatures will cool into the mid-40s Thursday morning.

A cold front comes through early Thursday. Our wind will shift to the north and pick up between 15 to 30 mph. Temperatures will still climb to the upper 70s under sunny skies. The fire threat will be high.

Friday looks to be the best day of the week with seasonal temperatures in the low 70s and a fairly light north wind.
