Two earthquakes shook up residents near Luther, Oklahoma Thursday afternoon.
The first, a 3.3 magnitude earthquake, struck at approximately 4:21 p.m. Its epicenter was located just five mile north of Luther, 15 miles southeast of Guthrie, 16 miles east, northeast of Edmond, and 26 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
It was about two and a half miles deep.
The second, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake, struck at approximately 4:31 p.m. in the same area.
There are no reports of injuries or damages associated with either earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with earthquakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
