The Sooners are dancing this weekend, advancing further in the NCAA tournament. They're heading to the Elite Eight for the first time in years.

Sooner fans are waking up to the exciting news that for the first time since 2009. Oklahoma will be in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Sooners will now take on the Oregon Ducks who beat out Duke in a late night game out in Anaheim, California.

Oklahoma edged out Texas A&M 77 to 63 -- a game the Sooners were favored to win. The Sooners had great 3-point shooting and will need more of that against the top-seeded Ducks on Saturday.

Tip off for Saturday's match up between Oklahoma and Oregon is 5 p.m. right here on News 9.

IF the Sooners win, it would be their first Final Four appearance since 2002.
