OKC Police Search For Man Who Stole Vehicle From Parking Lot

Police released surveillance photos of a man accused of stealing an SUV from the parking lot of a southwest Oklahoma City business.

The incident happened on February 21 in the parking lot of a business at 7700 S. Walker Avenue. Police said the victim accidentally left her car keys at the register. The suspect then grabbed the keys and went outside to look for the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect reportedly got into a red pickup truck. The pickup driver drove the suspect around the parking lot until they found the victim’s vehicle using the key fob.

The victim said when she realized her car keys were missing, she went outside and found out that her vehicle was gone, too. The stolen vehicle is described as a black, 2006 Toyota Rav 4 SUV with an Oklahoma license plate 704AJN.
