A large trough over the center part of the country has several pieces of energy moving with it allowing for isolated showers over the central plains Wednesday. Eventually they will be headed our way.
Skies will stay mostly clear in the meantime for Oklahoma City overnight with temperatures dropping to the mid-40s.
Clouds increase Thursday but better rain chances should stay along and south of the Red River. There is only a slight chance we could squeeze a light rain shower or some sprinkles out Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the mid-60s.
Better and more widespread rain chances arrive on Friday with even cooler temperatures.
