Police Detain Suspect After Standoff At NW OKC Apartment Complex

Police were involved in a standoff with a suspect at an apartment complex on the northwest side of the metro, Tuesday evening.

The standoff happened at an apartment complex located in NW 143rd St. and N. Penn Ave.

Few details are known at this time. Police led one man out in handcuffs. 

Reports indicate that police officers followed the suspect back to the complex, at which point the suspect ran inside a unit and is refusing to come out. Police believe the suspect may be armed.
