Police Identify Man Shot, Killed In Northwest OKC

Police have identified a man who was shot and killed Thursday in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, just before 1 p.m., officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 1100 block of N.W. 92nd Street. When they arrived, they found the victim, 19-year-old Otto Reed, in the backyard of a home. He had been shot.

Reed was transported to OU Medical Center, where he died Thursday night.

Police said it appears that Reed was walking in the area of the 1100 block of W. Britton Road, when he was approached by the suspect.  Reed ran from the suspect, but was shot as he was trying to run away. 

The suspect is believed to have arrived in a black 4-door sedan with black rims, according to police.

Reed's death is Oklahoma City's 15th homicide of 2016, according to police.
