We interrupt college basketball's conference tournaments to bring you...the Minnesota Timberwolves!

The Wolves (20-45) aren't very good by NBA standards, partially because most of their rotation is made up of guys who were playing in those aforementioned conference tournaments just a season or two ago.

The Thunder (44-20) on the other hand are quite good. Oklahoma City beat the Clippers 120-108 on Wednesday night to help regain some traction after a recent slump.

The key to OKC seizing the season sweep of the Wolves will be, as cliche as it sounds, to not lose focus. The Thunder travels to San Antonio for a showdown with the Spurs on Saturday night, so overlooking the Wolves could be quite realistic. On the other hand, it's also realistic that OKC would win anyway.

It'll be interesting to see the ratings for this game. Many Oklahomans will be giving the "previous" button on their remote a brutal workout as the Thunder directly conflicts with OU's Big 12 Tourney semifinal game against West Virginia. The Thunder tips at 7 p.m. while OU starts at 8 p.m. That means that both games could both be coming down the stretch between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m.

The Thunder could kill two birds with one stone by just blowing the Wolves off the court early. Not only would they be doing Sooner Nation a solid, but it would also rest some legs before Saturday's heavyweight fight at the Alamo.
