Authorities: Woman Admits Starting OKC Apartment Fire

<p>A woman told investigators that she was responsible for starting an apartment fire overnight in the 1100 block of SW 58th St. in Oklahoma City.</p>

A woman told investigators that she was responsible for starting an apartment fire overnight in the 1100 block of SW 58th St. in Oklahoma City.

The fire began in a front bedroom and resulted in approximately $40,000 in damage. One apartment is burned up and another has water damage.

The woman, later identified as 42-year-old Denise Hopkins, was arrested on a complaint of first-degree arson.
