A pharmacist and two pharmacy techs were tied up and held at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.

Now, police are searching for one of two suspects who stormed a Pauls Valley pharmacy demanding pills and money.

Crime scene tape went up after two suspects ran out after tying up the pharmacist and two techs at Legacy Pharmacy. Police said both men knew exactly what they were going for and even asked the employees where to find certain drugs they were after.

Both men were wearing masks and took off with money and a lot of prescription drugs. Police tracked down 28-year-old Jeremy Lavorchek, but the other suspect is nowhere to be found.

"They wound up in a foot pursuit of the two subjects,” Pauls Valley assistant police Chief Derrick Jolley said. “We were able to take one into custody, and we still do have one on the run."

Police said the men started losing things along the chase, but officers were able to recover three guns, the drugs they stole from the pharmacy and the cash they took from the register.

"We recovered the property they had taken. We recovered some of the things they were wearing,” Jolley said. "They got one of their hoodies. They got some masks."

All the while just a few blocks away several law enforcement were gathered for a fundraiser, something the two suspects thought may have bought them a little more time.

"That's what it seems like,” Jolley said.

Nobody was hurt, but police are still looking for the second suspect.

He’s a white male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with strawberry blond hair and was last seen wearing a dark blue coat and pants.
