Another beautiful day is on tap for Saturday across Oklahoma!
Winds come up a bit Saturday afternoon to 20-25 mph from the southeast. Clouds will increase Saturday night ahead of our next storm system.
Sunday, a few showers are possible out west in the morning. No big deal. The dry-line sets up in the panhandle Sunday afternoon and evening with a few storms possible, but our upper level energy and strong jet stream will still be just west of Oklahoma. So, our chance for severe weather is much lower.
Monday, upper level support and our strong jet stream arrive overhead in the afternoon and evening. The severe threat is still low as we'll have cloud cover over central Oklahoma. We'll need to see how much clearing we'll have in western Oklahoma, where a very sharp dry-line will setup. Any storms that develop would form into supercells packing up to golf ball size hail, 70 mph wind gusts, and a possible tornado.
The News 9 weather team will be watching this threat closely, so be sure to stay with News 9 and New9.com for any updates.
