A cold front moves into northwest Oklahoma Monday evening. Showers and storms will form out ahead of this boundary Monday night. These storms have the potential of becoming strong-to-severe with large hail and damaging wind the primary threats.
Storms should fire around the OKC metro around 10 p.m. and quickly move east overnight. Storms should be moving out of eastern Oklahoma early Tuesday morning.
Sunshine returns Tuesday along with seasonally cool temperatures in the low 60s. We will have a gusty north wind behind the front between 20 to 35 mph Tuesday, afternoon making for a high to extreme fire threat day.
