As high pressure moves south and east Thursday night our wind will shift to the south. Skies will stay clear with temperatures dropping to the upper 20s.
A southerly flow Friday will help temperatures recover to the low 60s in the afternoon under sunny skies. The wind will pick up between 15 to 25 mph.
With the lack of rain in northern and northwest Oklahoma, the fire threat will be ramped up to extreme Friday and will be high in the central part of the state.
