A man is clinging to life after he was shot in the head then driven to a Tulsa gas station near West 51st Street and South Union Sunday morning.

Police continue the search for the shooter Monday. Tulsa Police Sergeant Dave Walker said the victim, 23-year-old Blaine Wells, was pronounced brain dead around 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

Police say Wells was in the backseat of his friend's car at a stop sign near Indian and West Skelly Drive. A man got out of a white car and fired one shot into the back window, hitting Wells in the head.

There were two other people in the car, a man and woman in their 20s, and they weren't hurt.
