Help is on the way for moms and caregivers when they do their shopping. Target is rolling out a new type of shopping cart nationwide.

It's called "Caroline's Cart" and it's a game changer for special-needs families. Many children can step into the cart on their own, and those who use a wheelchair can ride safely in it without forcing parents or caregivers to navigate a cart and wheelchair.

"Caroline's Cart" can hold up to 250 pounds, which means adults and the elderly can also ride in them. Those who've used the cart say they're already seeing the benefits.

"These carts are changing everything for us. She enjoys it, she likes to be in view of everything," said mom Darlene Rodrigo. "I can finally bring Bella along with me anywhere. She likes to be out she doesn't want to be home all the time."

Almost every Target store will have the "Caroline's Cart" starting March 19.
