Authorities Arrest Suspect Accused Of Stealing ATM In Northeast OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A suspect who reportedly stole an ATM has been arrested after a manhunt in northeast Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.

At about 5:30 a.m., Oklahoma City police officers and Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputies began looking for the male suspect in the area of Interstate 35 and Hefner Road.

The suspect reportedly stole an ATM at Conoco Service Station at I-35 and Hefner. Deputies said he used a skid loader to bust a hole through the store to steal the ATM.

At some point, the suspect led authorities on a chase. He then ditched his truck carrying the ATM, and ran away on foot.

The suspect was captured at about 8:30 a.m. The ATM was also recovered, according to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office. 

Police released a surveillance video of the burglary. 

The suspect has not been identified. Stay with us for updates.
