Small Earthquake Reported In Major County

A small earthquake was recorded in northwest Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 3.0-magnitude earthquake happened at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday. Its epicenter was 19 miles northwest of Fairview, 36 miles east of Woodward and 97 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was five and half miles deep.

No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
