Durant & Westbrook Set To Partake In 2016 NBA All-Star Game

Posted: Updated:
TORONTO, Canada -

Both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook will represent the Thunder and the Western Conference in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto at 7 p.m. Both OKC stars were voted in as starters by NBA fans across the world, and will join Warriors guard Steph Curry, Lakers forward Kobe Bryant and Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard in the starting lineup.

Durant and Westbrook have decorated careers as all-stars, and neither one fails to put on a show when given an opportunity.

Durant is playing in his seventh all-star game, and fifth as a starter. The Slim Reaper doesn't hesitate to get shots up in pickup styled games such as this, and averaged 26 ppg in his all-star career. Durant was named the 2011-12 All-Star Game MVP after dropping 36 points on 56 percent shooting.

Westbrook is playing in his fifth all-star game, and his first has a starter. Last year Westbrook was named the MVP of the game after scoring 41 points in only 25 minutes of game action.

Both players have potential to snag MVP honors yet again, but with Kobe Bryant playing in his last all-star game, look for the Thunder Buddies to mostly defer to one of their childhood idols.

Check back after the game for updates on how the duo performed.
