Posted: Updated:

Midwest City Police have arrested a man after two victims were stabbed early Friday morning.

The stabbings happened in the 1600 block of Cynthia Drive. Both victims, one man and one woman, were taken to the hospital. The male victim has since been released. The female was both stabbed and strangled, and remains in the hospital. She is said to be in stable condition.

Police say the attack centered around a dispute of some sort. The suspect attacked the female victim, and then the male victim jumped in to stop the assault. The female was able to get away and call 911.

Police have not identified anyone involved.
