Juvenile Suspect Arrested In Mugging Of Woman, 91, In The Village

Del City Police have arrested a juvenile suspect believed to be the person who mugged a 91-year-old woman at a McDonald’s restaurant in The Village on Monday.

The juvenile was arrested after a brief chase with a Del City motorcycle police officer on Monday evening. After the chase, as officers were making their arrests, they noticed the juvenile matched the description of the suspect in The Village mugging.

Police tell News 9 he was even wearing the same clothes as the suspect in the surveillance footage and still had the victim’s debit card in his possession. Because of the suspect’s age, police did not release his name.
