Fatality Accident Closes I-240

Interstate 240 was shut down early Wednesday morning between Bryant and Sunnylane after a fatal collision, but the road is now back open.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that the wreck involved a motorcycle and a semi. The driver of the motorbike, Dirk Busby, died on scene. Police say that the 28-year-old Del City resident was speeding on his 2015 Harley Davidson and struck the rear of the truck. Police say that Busby was ejected approximately 400 feet upon impact.

Rigoberto Contreres, 38, was behind the wheel of the truck. He was not injured.
