MOORE, Oklahoma -

Moore police are investigating reports of two sexual assault incidents involving juvenile students at two schools.

According to police, on January 19, officers received a report about an incident at Central Jr. High in Moore. That incident occurred on January 14, and involved a sexual assault between students who were juveniles.

On January 20, police said they received another report at SouthMoore High School of a sexual assault that occurred on January 19 in the Wrestling room, also involving juveniles.

According to police, the alleged incidents are similar to what had happened at Norman North High School.

The incidents are currently under investigation. Once the investigation is complete it will be sent to the Cleveland County District Attorney, who will decide if any charges will be filed.

A spokesperson for moore Public Schools issued the following statement regarding the allegations:

"Student safety at Moore Public Schools is one of the highest priorities of our district.  Without getting into specific details, the coaches with the Southmoore wrestling team did an incredible job ensuring student safety when they were notified of an incident that occurred in the wrestling room at Southmoore High School on the evening of January 19, 2016.  As soon as the coaches received information that the incident occurred, they immediately relayed the details to school administrators who in turn immediately contacted the police and the parents of the students involved.

The staff and administration at Central Jr. High did an incredible job as well moving forward once they were notified of an incident that occurred on their campus on January 14, 2016.  The student's parents and police were contacted once the information was received and the students involved were disciplined in line with Moore Public Schools policy.  Moore Public Schools will continue to work with the Moore Police Department as they investigate the incidents.

We are proud of the staff and students who came forward without delay to report what was observed.  Their actions are what make Moore Public Schools the great district that it is."
