A storm system out west over in Arizona and New Mexico is spinning this way and will bring Oklahoma that chance of showers and storms later Monday evening.
They will spread from west to east across the state. There is a low threat that these storms could become severe with quarter size hail and 65 mph wind gusts. These showers and storms will move into eastern Oklahoma overnight.
Colder and drier air moves in behind this system Tuesday. Temperatures will top out around 50 degrees with a brisk northwest wind. The rest of the week looks cool and quiet with highs in the low 50s.
