Spaghetti Warehouse In Downtown OKC To Close

Spaghetti Warehouse, a well-known restaurant located in downtown Oklahoma City, is closing, News 9 confirmed Monday morning.

The restaurant was one of the first businesses to move into the revitalized Bricktown. It has been in Bricktown for more than 30 years.

Employees were notified that Monday is their last day. A company spokesperson wouldn't say why they are closing, but said they are hopeful they can reopen in the Oklahoma City market some time soon.

Officials with the restaurant released the following statement,

"After more than 30 years in the community, we have made the difficult business decision to suspend operations and announce the closure of the Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurant in Oklahoma City.

The closure is effective on Tuesday, February 2nd. We are working closely with everyone on our staff, whose hard work and dedication is appreciated and we thank them for their many contributions.

To our many guests, we say thank you. We enjoyed serving you, your family and friends. And, it was our pleasure to share in the celebrations that took place over countless lunches and dinners, not to mention birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.

Spaghetti Warehouse was one of the first businesses involved in the Bricktown revitalization and we   thank everyone in the Oklahoma City community who we’ve served and who supported us.
