Oklahoma breaks out of the cold Sunday afternoon as temperatures rise into the upper 50’s and lower 60’s across the state. There will be a few mid to upper 60’s in western and southwestern Oklahoma.
Winds will stay blustery with gusts up to 30 mph all across Oklahoma. Fire danger will be elevated Sunday, especially in western Oklahoma.
A quick shot of cold air arrives first thing Monday morning, and will stick around for Tuesday and early Wednesday before we start warming up again. The warmup will take our temperatures into the mid and upper 60’s at the end of the work week and next weekend.
News 9 meteorologists have eyes on another storm system that will arrive February. Stay with News 9 for an update on how it'll impact Oklahoma in terms of precipitation. But definitely expect another shot of cold air.
