OG&E Crews Head To North Carolina For Blizzard Help

OG&E employees from across the utility's service area are headed to North Carolina as the East Coast braces for a major winter storm.

The utility says 70 OG&E employees and 85 contract employees left at 6 a.m. Friday at the request of Duke Energy in Charleston, North Carolina.  

OG&E says its crews will help restore service knocked out by the storm, which is predicted to produce two feet of snow and 60 mph winds.
