A home burglary suspect is behind bars thanks to an Oklahoma City K9 officer.

According to police, at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the report of a home burglary in the 2300 block of Southwest Binkley in Oklahoma City.

When officers arrived, the suspect reportedly ran away. Officers set up a perimeter. With the help of a K9 officer, the suspect was later found hiding in a residential area.

The suspect was arrested on a burglary complaint. He also faces a domestic abuse charge, because police said he was in a relationship with the burglary victim.

No one was injured. The suspect has not been identified.
