Still no classes in Dover after a fire damaged the high school last week. News 9 spoke with the superintendent Tuesday night, who said once classes resume, they would all be held in the elementary school. But classes won't resume until Monday, January 25.

More than a week ago, the town of Dover woke up to find the high school caught fire in the middle of the night. The state fire marshal's office determined an accidental electrical problem caused; a heating lamp in a classroom to ignite.

Seven classrooms and the principal's office were destroyed. The high school is part of the Dover Public schools building and there was smoke and water damage to the elementary school and agriculture building.

The district said on its website heat needed to be restored to the elementary gym and electrical wires need to be disconnected.

The fire marshal will conduct another inspection on Friday and it is expected to be approved so classes can start next Monday.
