An early morning earthquake in Logan County shook some central Oklahoma residents out of bed on Wednesday.
The 3.4 magnitude quake was recorded at approximately 2:55 a.m. Its epicenter was located eight miles south southeast of Guthrie, or about 21 miles north northeast of the Oklahoma City metro, at a depth of about five miles.

Several News 9 viewers reported feeling the shaking, but there have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this quake.
