Powerball winners across the country are celebrating after Wednesday night’s drawing.

Winning jackpot tickets were sold in three states, unfortunately, Oklahoma was not one of them; but there is a million dollar winner who bought their ticket at the Tulsa QuikTrip near Memorial and Admiral.

So far, that winner has not come forward and claimed their prize. They have 180 days to do so, but people are anxious to know if that millionaire is a regular at the store or was just passing through.

Eight Oklahomans won more than $50,000 - including the $1 million winner.

Tulsan Don Gant said, "That's all I want to do is see who it was. They will be my friend."

Gant knows how he would have spent the $1.5 billion jackpot, “I'd go buy an island," he said.

The big crowds at the counter have died down, but emotions are still running high.

"There's a lot of excitement. Number one is everyone wants to know who it is. We don't have a clue, and probably never will,” said spokesperson, Mike Thornbrugh. “Number two, to us, honestly, we are just glad the frenzy is over with."

“Chaos,” is how Gant described it. “I mean people weren't shopping, they were just in here buying tickets."

Two or three additional clerks were brought into every store.

Thornbrugh said, "We have one machine that spits out the tickets, and after a while, quite frankly, you go crazy and need a break, so that's what we are trying to do."

Employees can take a deep breath until the next big jackpot.

Another $100,000 winner bought their ticket at the Gilcrease Hills QuikTrip off North Gilcrease Museum Road and the Sand Springs expressway.

You can check the Oklahoma Lottery website to see if you won any money.
