OSU Women: Cowgirls Narrowly Edged By Wildcats

Not everyone in Stillwater was paying attention to the boy’s Bedlam matchup on Wednesday, as the OSU women were in also in action. The Cowgirls fought valiantly, but fell just short to Kansas State 47-44.

Brittney Martin led the way for the Cowgirls in a losing effort with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Roddricka Patton scored nine points and dished six assists. LaTashia Jones scored seven points off the bench while both Mandy Coleman and Kaylee Jensen each added six points.

KSU’s Kindred Wesemann led the Wildcats with 12 points and Breanna Lewis totaled 11 points of her own.

Oklahoma State (12-4) will be back in action on Saturday when they host OU for Bedlam.
