Three women escaped when their home caught fire early Wednesday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.
Firefighters said they put out a house fire in the 1000 block of N.W. 100th Street. Three women were inside the home at the time. They said the smoke detector went off and they were able to get out.
No one was injured. Fire officials said the fire started in a back bedroom. The cause is under investigation.
Firefighters were able to rescue a dog that was inside the home when it caught fire. The dog was treated with oxygen.
