Crews were called out to battle a tricky fire at a home just west of the downtown Oklahoma City area, Tuesday evening.
Firefighters were called out to the scene at a home in the 2300 block of W. Sheridan Ave. just after 4:30 p.m. Once on scene, firefighters reported seeing smoke and flames shooting out of the home.
At first firefighters thought they had the blaze under control, but then flames erupted from the back of the home. Crews on scene reported that the home was packed, floor to ceiling, with various items.
Authorities tell News 9 that no person was inside the home at the time. Two dogs inside the home were located safe.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
