One Injured, Suspects Sought After Shooting In NW OKC

Police are investigating reports of a shooting in a neighborhood in NW Oklahoma City, Monday afternoon.

Officers were called out to the area in the 4200 block of NW 36th St., just to the south of the 39th Expressway and east of N. Meridian Ave., just before 2 p.m.

According to scanner traffic, one shooting victim was at the scene when police arrived. News 9 is told that the victim's injuries are not life-threatening. That person was taken "emergency status" to OU Medical Center.

No word yet on suspect information at this time. It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
