Crews Respond To Crash On SB I-35 In Edmond

Emergency crews are on the scene of a wreck on the southbound side of Interstate 35 in Edmond, Monday afternoon.

First responders were called out to the scene on I-35, in between E. 2nd St. and E. 15th St., just before 1:30 p.m. Authorities have shut down tow of the inside lanes of SB I-35 while crews work the scene.

Two vehicles, a pickup and an SUV, were involved in the crash. The pickup left the highway and crashed into a ditch just off the service road to his right. The SUV was crashed in the middle of the interstate.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. EMSA was also on the scene, but there has been no official word of injuries.
