OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma City man and his passenger lead police on a chase throughout the metro at the height of rush hour traffic. The duo is now in jail Thursday night, wanted in connection with Wednesday night's stabbing at the Green Carpet Inn.

During rush hour, that driver, Clyde John “CJ” Landry traveled on every major highway in the metro weaving in and out of traffic at speeds more than 100 miles an hour.

The nearly hour long pursuit began around 5 o'clock. Oklahoma City Police received a tip "CJ" Landry and his female passenger were spotted back at the Green Carpet Inn.

A warrant was issued for Landry in connection to Wednesday night's stabbing at the motel.

The officer attempted to pull Landry over and that's when he took off.

Near 33rd and Broadway in Edmond, Landry appeared to open the door and throw something out, but Edmond police said they didn't find anything.

The pursuit ended when the suspects pulled over and surrendered on southbound I-235, in between 50th St. and 36th St. along the Broadway Extension.
