Emergency Crews Cap Gas Leak In NW OKC

Emergency crews have capped a gas leak in northwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, a 4-inch medium pressure natural gas line was hit at N.W. 45th and Western. 

Western was closed at N.W. 46th Street as crews worked to repair the leak. The roadways are now back open. 

Horace Mann Specialty Elementary School, located near the gas leak, was not evacuated.
